Guttman Yad-Brands

Guttman Yad-Brands

(Or: Life in Yad-Brush)

Guttman Yad-Brush is often seen by Israeli designers as the Hebrew equivalent of Comic Sans. It’s uneven, squiggly, bulgy, overused, and seen as the “default option” for anything relating to children.

This project is an affectionate parody of the font and its reputation, but also tells the story of its creator, and why maybe HE’S the one laughing at us now.
